MUA RAVEN LIPSTICK REVIEW - HALLOWEEN LOOK

OK, we still have over a month util Halloween, but it's never too early to try out some looks. Especially when there is a new shade in MUA range. MUA Lipstick in shade Raven will be the focus point of the look I will try to create.

I have considered going for this look:

(Source: http://cdn.buzznet.com/assets/users16/audrey/default/think-about-kim-kardashian-eyebrow--large-msg-124776198508.jpg)

But you really have to be good looking to pull this off! I will not even attempt to do it!

So for this look I chose to keep my face makeup to a minimum. I also used very pale makeup, I just felt that a pale face will look better scarier with this lipstick. I contoured a little bit using MUA Pro-Base Conceal and Brighten Kit with a blending wedge. Look at it in the video bellow:

Then I applied some E.L.F Translucent Powder and highlighted my cheekbones (just a little) with MUA Highlighter in Pink Shimmer.

So for the lips I decided to line it with MUA Brooding Plum Lip Liner. You can also see the process in the video:

And these are the pictures of the look:

I think in terms of scary this look was a success.. I actually quite like the look, but I found it very difficult to take a decent pic! I just look odd! Buttt I love this MUA Raven Lipstick, I'm definitely going to wear it for Halloween!

Products used:

- MUA Lipstick (Shade: Raven)
- MUA Pro-Base Conceal and Brighten Kit (Shade: Beige-Golden)
- E.L.F Powder (Shade: Translucent)
- MUA Lip Liner (Shade: Brooding Plum)
- MUA Highlighter (Shade: Pink Shimmer)

Most of these products are available in my ebay shop!

Lots of love,

Motivation.. Sometimes we do need to dedicate a day to planning and making checklists!

Today I had no desire or motivation to do anything but lay in bed.. I had so many things to do, that instead of getting on with it, I decided laying in my bed, doing nothing would solve everything.. crazy lazy I know. I think it may just be one of those days, but how am I supposed to get through it and end up making it a productive and fulfilled day. Well my first try was a quote on instagram for myself and my girls, this is it:

(Source: Instagram: @ayazumi_23)

Lovely quote, but didn't help. Second try was comfort food, didn't help, made me even sleepier. Then caffeine... and voila! I dragged myself out of bed, and realised still no motivation.. damn, didn't quite work, but one step at a time.

So I decided to do what helped me through my five years of university, planning! There is nothing better than a checklist, you put down what you want to do, dedicate days or time slots for it, and do it! Putting a tick on a checklist is one of the most satisfying things on earth!

Ok, fair enough I didn't leave myself to do much for today, but at least I have a plan of how to get everything done in time.. and no excuses tomorrow. We do sometimes just need that one day to be lazy and grumpy! Today is that day for me!

Sant Lucijaa!

Diana Agron Hair in "I'm Not The Only One" by Sam Smith Tutorial

The other day I was getting ready to go meet my girls (I must say I am one big party girl!) and I saw this wonderful video of "I'm Not The Only One"by Sam Smith:

And have you seen how beautiful Diana Agron looked?  I loved the way her hair looked, so classy! So in my true style I tried to copy her! First of all I used my old buddies, Babyliss rollers (as shown below).

(Source: http://www.kissandmakeup.tv/BaByliss%20Thermo%20Ceramic%20Rollers.JPG)

I had these for more than 5 years and used to love them! At the very top, I rolled all of the rollers in one direction so that when its out it would create one giant wave. The rest of my hair I pretty much jus put them in without giving it too much thought! Left them in for over 20 minutes and this is what I got when I took them out:

I loved the way it looked there! However 5 minutes, after touching it a few times (lets face it, its impossible to not touch your hair at all, or is that just me?) the curls became very loose and frizzy as you can see below:

And I think this is down to my rollers being way too old and not heating up enough anymore. But I still think the front curve was achieved quite well! Anyway, I went to see my friends with my hair like this and then during the evening I put it up similar to Diana Agron in the video. However that didn't go down too well with some guy in the restaurant, he said: "Please put your hair down, you look too old like this." What a great compliment ey...

So the moral of the story I need to get myself one of those fat barrel curling wands to try achieve new looks!

Lots of love,
Sant Lucijaa!

My new short hair! 2014 Short hair trend!

I cut my hair a few weeks ago! Very short! Shortest I had in a long time!

I'm sure everyone has seen lots of short haircuts in the streets and magazines.. I just had to get in on it and see what the fuss was about! And I love itttttttt <3

Here you go:

I went for a very straight cut which I love, but at the same time I'd love to try out this Taylor Swift haircut with a fringe, seems too awesome not to!

My Wedding Look! (Kim Kardashian Contoured Makeup Look and Goddiva Dress Review)

I have recently got back from my holiday, where I went to a friends wedding! The wedding was brilliant and the bride looked amazing! Although I can't share any imaged of her, I will share a few of the place and my look!

Regarding the location, it was in Lithuania (where I come from). The venue was amazing, a really nice place, here you can have a little peak:

Very difficult to find a picture, where other people can't be seen..

Here is my dress for the wedding:

Good old toilet selfie:

I have bought this dress from online shop called Goddiva (have a look at it by clicking here). For a maxi dress, I found this dress was quite cheap (£68). I was happy with the quality and the way it looked! I've accessorised the dress with a chunky necklace from River Island (have a look at it by clicking here). The rest of my jewellery was my treasured Gucci watch and Swarovski earrings.

For my makeup look I pretty much done what I did for Kim Kardashian (West lol) contouring look.

One thing I would like to point out about my make up is that I used MUA Pro Base Fixing Mist and it has kept my make up in place! We have even experienced rain when taking pictures! My makeup withstood dampness and long hours of the party quite well!

More pictures taken through out the day:

Hope this gives you idea for your special occasions or maybe spice up your everyday look!

[MUA Pro Base Fixing Mist is available in my ebay shop]

Lots of love,

Monsters Inc.. Sullivan got scared of me!

A little silly thing I had done awhile ago, thought I'll share haha :)

Hope you like it!

Kim Kardashian Smokey Eye Look Tutorial (Toned down look)

So I have been asked to show how to do a smokey eye.. I would like to point out, that I am not the biggest fan of it, as I feel it doesn't suit my face shape! Also I feel most smokey eyes are too dark and way over the top, so I tried to create a toned down look!

I also wanted to moan about my instagram crashing! I wanted to do a short video of showing exactly how the look is achieved, but halfway through instagram decided to crash and I gave up! Nonetheless I've got a video of the finished look at the end of the post!

I have looked through some tutorials such as this one by MakeupbyEvon:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYy8ymsCbjI

Definitely helped, but I didn't quite follow it! This is because I wanted to do it with minimum amount of makeup products. So these are all the products that I have used on my eyes:

And these are:

- Ardell Eyelashes (No: 120)
- MUA Eyeshadow Palette (Shade: Undressed)
- Maybelline Gel Eyeliner (Shade: Black)
- Eyeshadow Brush (Brand Unknown)

So using these products I have achieved this look:

I have followed this diagram:

(Source: http://community.sephora.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/20121i8E90DD3B090D80C9?v=mpbl-1)

(Source: http://www.riverisland.com/women/jewellery/necklaces/Light-pink-gem-stone-statement-necklace-657600)

However since I didn't have eye primer, I have used shade Naked (all the shades are from MUA Eyeshadow Palette Undressed) to cover the whole of my eyelid, as that acts a bit like a primer by not letting eyeshadow move to the crease of the eye. Then as shown in the diagram for areas named 1 I used shade Shy, area 2 shade Fiery and area 3 shade Obsessed. I used the same brush, but cleaned it on the palm of my hand before putting different colour on it. The downfall of this look is that I haven't got a blending brush, and this is essential to achieve this look! I am going to make sure I order it and do another look when it arrives! A little tip for when you are applying all the different colours, errors may occur and I found that even with a flat eyeshadow brush you can use shade Naked to blend and even everything out!

Anyway afterwards I had applied my Maybelline Gel Eyeliner on the on my eyelash line (top and bottom) as well as on my waterline!

Here is a video of the look:

(To view thin on youtube this is the link click here)

(It's processing at the moment, should be up shortly!)

And there are some more pictures(I just came out the shower when I've done this look, so thats why I have a towel on my head):

Hope you have liked the look!

Sant Lucijaa!

Eyebrow Tutorial using MUA Luxe Power Brow and Brow Kit (Review)

I wanted to share a video I made awhile ago of how I do my eyebrows, as eyebrows are essential part of all the looks! Hope this helps guys! (I have not forgot the suggestions you've asked, I will do those tomorrow)

I also wanted to say that I love these products, they are my essentials!

In this video I used two products for my eyebrows:

- MUA Luxe Power Brow (Shade: Dark)
- MUAPro Brow Kit (Shade: Fair-Mid)

Lots of love,
Sant Lucijaa!

Pink Holiday Look

For the first look of my holiday I will show what I pretty much looked like for the whole of the holiday, as being quite busy meant that I had little time to experiment with my make up (sadly).

First of all, ever since I've done the Kim Kardashian, I had been in love with contouring! For an everyday look, I keep it minimal, but I do use the technique.

So this is a picture of my look:

I need point out that, what made this look very quick for me, was having eyelash extensions! It really is great and saves a ton of time!

As I have already explained, I liked the contoured look, so what I now do for everyday since I don't want it to be too much and look like I had too much make up on during day time. I prep my skin as usual, using a moisturiser and then Maybelline Baby Skin primer. I let it set for awhile, during that time, I try to utilise my time and do my hair. So when it sets, I put my Revlon Colour Stay foundation on using a MUA Stippling brush (I have already bragged about this item, love it!). After that I put on E.L.F Translucent Powder. And now I do a bit of contouring using MUA Pro Base Concealer kit, I mainly just use the lightest shade to put underneath my eyes and mid-forhead, but I now have a different technique to do that! I now use a sponge to dab it on, I find it's better at keeping my foundation in place, instead of smudging it all around using a brush. So, I again dab a bit of powder on where I have highlighted my face. And now I use a MUA Bronzed Perfection bronzer with a fat bronzing brush to contour, and this is what really makes this routine much quicker than my previous post on contouring. I contour all the same places but so much quicker, and this gives a more natural look! After bronzing, I also use MUA Highlighter in shade Pink Shimmer (since I am going for a pink look) to highlight my cheekbones. So thats done with my face, I know it sounds like a long process, but really once you try it one or two times, it becomes much quicker!

So the eyes.. Very simple, fake eyelashes and just Maybelline gel eyeliner on my waterline and its done! I would like to point out, that gel eyeliners are the best to put on your waterline, as they are waterproof! Also just a tip, when you first buy it, its quite wet and sometimes difficult to apply, but if you leave it open for awhile it gets harder and much easier to manage!

For my lips I used Collection Deluxe Lipstick in shade Talullah! Brilliant shade, gives you a sweet look but it also looks quite natural!

And there you go, thats my look!
I would also like to point out something about my hair. I feel that this look is quite "sweet", so middle parting is essential to complete the look, as middle partings are very in at the moment! Other than that, just plain straight hair, curls would also make the look too "sweet"!

I hope you guys like this look, any questions don't hesitate to comment!

The list of the main products that you would need for this look is:

- Collection Deluxe Lipstick (Shade: Tallulah)
- MUA Pro Base Conceal & Brighten Kit (Shade: Beige-Golden)
- MUA F2 Stippling brush
- MUA Highlighter (Shade: Pink Shimmer)
- Maybelline Gel Eyeliner

Lots of love,
Sant Lucijaa!

Sorry!

So first of all I'm sorry for being a very s**t blogger for the last few weeks!

I have been on holiday in Lithuania, I had thought I was going to have the time to do posts, but turned out I hardly had the time to sleep!

So once again, sorry guys and I am back to posting!

(A little snap of the city I was born in, as you can see the weather wasn't great!)
