MUA Highlighter Review in Iridescent Gold

Hello dolls,

I have bragged about MUA Face Highlighters for a long time, always mention it in my tutorials so I just had to dedicate a post to it!

(To have a look at it click here, to just browse the shop click here.)

If you look at the picture below you can see that the highest part of my cheekbone is highlighted with MUA Highlighter in Iridescent Gold. It creates a glowing dewy look and gives your face some dimension especially in pictures! It really is my secret weapon!

I also apply some shimmer just above my cupids bow, which gives a nice definition as you can see in he picture below:

Also I am going to have a new addition in my shop, precisely the lipstick I am wearing in the pictures above and below. I have had this Collection Deluxe lipstick in shade Tallulah for a few months now and I loved it. It's rich in colour, super pigmented and only needs to be applied once, plus it has a really nice packaging. So this colour and other colours of the Collection Deluxe lipsticks will be available to buy by next week!

This is what the highlighter and lipstick looks like with flash!

I also wanted to share of our little friend from last friday who had just a little too much to drink:

So lots of love guys,

Sant Lucijaa!

MUA Lipstick in shade Bare Review

Another throwback, this time back to summer 2013. I've been very busy lately so don't get the time to do a new look to post about, but maybe tomorrow!

I wanted to share another favourite of mine, MUA Lipstick in shade Bare. This is hands down my favourite shade for nude lips. I personally use for everyday and nights out:

MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer in shade Kooky + e.l.f Lip Exfoliator Review

Another post about Halloween!

I've decided to recycle a look I've done a while ago using MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer in shade Kooky:

To look at MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer in shade Kooky click here. Or to go to my shop for a browse click here.

This is the look that I went for on a normal day to uni, it was a bit much, but I loved it:

The Lipgloss is matte and it is long lasting, however it does dry out your lips a little so preparation is vital! I use a natural lip scrub from Lush store to scrub off all the dead cells and put some vaseline before bed.

I don't currently stock Lush products, but I have an alternative of e.l.f Lip exfoliator, which I haven't tried yet, but I like that it is like a lipstick instead of a tub of sugar that I got from Lush shop.. But here it is the e.l.f scrub if you are interested:

To have a look at it click here.

To go back to MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquers there are many shades:

Again to have a look at it click here.

The shades that I currently have are Kooky, Halcyon, Tranquility and Serene. I also used to have Funk, but I've lost it somewhere :(

Anyway lots of love,
Sant Lucijaa!

A little on MUA Pro-Base Corrective Yellow Primers

I thought I will share yesterday's look with you!

I'm kicking myself for not getting a better picture, I took this one on snapchat and its definitely not high quality. But Again I contoured my face using Makeup Revolution Cover & Conceal palette, but I've also used MUA Pro-Base Corrective Yellow Primer after foundation, but before powder. I really like the yellow primer but I sometimes feel that it needs more pigmentation. Recently MUA released a new Pro-Base Prime & Conceal Palette, I've already bought it and I'm hoping that the corrective yellow concealer in the palette will be more pigmented, but I will let you know guys! If you wanna try it out before I do, it is available in my shop.

This is the new MUA Pro-Base Prime & Conceal Palette I was talking about:

Contouring Using Makeup Revolution Cover & Conceal Palette Dupe of Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit

So I am going to make another post about contouring and using the Makeup Revolution Cover and Conceal palette. I am going to do it in a little more detail this time around, with more pictures :)

First of all I'd like to point out that this palette is a very close dupe to the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit, except this is for people who prefer to use creams instead of pressed powders.

So for my face makeup these are all the items I will be using:

As usual my favourite Maybelline primer, fairly cheap Rimmel foundation, Makeup Revolution Cover & Conceal palette, e.l.f blusher and e.l.f High Definition powder (most products available in my ebay shop).

So this is me with just foundation (very unflattering angle):

And this is me after I have slightly contoured my face using Makeup Revolution Cover & Conceal, I also applied e.l.f Cream Blush:

I have the Makeup Revolution palette in Medium Dark shade, which is definitely a little too dark. So I have used the lightest shade to conceal and highlight my undereyes, the bridge of my nose, mid forehead, chin and just a little around my lips. I have used third darkest shade all around my hairline, a little on my jawline and cheekbones. Then the next part was to use cream blush on the apples of my cheek, but I use it very lightly, so to not look like a clown but just "healthy". This is to give you an idea:

Found a better angle and lighting, I have also applied e.l.f High Definition Powder to set everything and as usual used MUA Highlighter in Iridescent Gold on the highest part of my cheekbone:

The next step in my routine are my eyebrows. As I have shown you guys before, I always use my MUA Eyebrow Kit. I look weird with such dark eyebrows and eyes still not done lol:

They actually look too dark, but I will have very dark eyes, so should work out in the end:

And here are my eyes:

I have bought a new eyeshadow brush, e.l.f Blending Brush, and it is amazing. It makes it so much easier to to do a smokey eye, I think I will definitely start stocking these in my shop! But for the eyes I've used MUA Undress Me Too Eyeshadow Palette:

And this is me, the same evening out:

This makeup is very late at night, stayed on very well, although me, myself got a little tipsy haha:

Thought I will also share Piccadilly Circus at night, looked pretty:

Also this was my overall look for the evening, kept it very simple:
